December 1 - 31, 2025

2025 Matching Campaign (2).png

TLDR

You can ‘buy a day’ by selecting a ticket for that day, which will charge you the corresponding amount.

How to participate

  • Scroll to the date you want to purchase, and click ‘Add+’ to add 1 zeffy ticket to your cart - this will charge you the amount for that day (Example - if you select December 10th, you intend to donate $10).

  • If you click ‘Add+’ twice, and double your donation (so adding 2 Zeffy tickets to your cart that day), you will have your name added to our December raffle with the number of tickets equaling the amount you donated to the campaign (Example - If you select December 10th, and then donate $20, you will have 20 tickets entered into our December raffle)

  • Dates are available on a first come, first serve basis. If a date is purchased, but the person has chosen to not double the donation, there will be a second chance for another person to purchase that date!

  • Charitable tax receipt - If you donate $20+, you are eligible to receive a charitable tax receipt - which you will be asked about on the check out page.

Additional donation/ Zeffy fee

  • Add a donation for OPIRG Brock - If you scroll to the bottom of the dates, you will see the option to add a donation for Ontario P.I.R.G. If you do choose to add a donation, those funds will be also be sent to OPIRG Brock.

    • There is no pressure or request to use this function, but we wanted it to be available just in case folks want to use it.

  • Optional Zeffy platform fee - On the check out page, if you scroll to the Summary section, you will see “Help keep Zeffy free for Ontario P.I.R.G. 💜 (optional)”. This fee is for Zeffy, not OPIRG Brock that you are welcome to add on or not.

    • The site automatically opts-in the fee, so if you would like to switch it to $0, click the drop-down menu that shows $5, and select ‘Other’. An additional Contribution box will appear, and leave that blank to pay $0 for this fee. â€‹

Payment methods

  • On Zeffy, you can pay using your credit card or a pre-paid debit card. If these forms of payment are not accessible to you, but you would like to donate to OPIRG Brock, please check out www.opirgbrock.com/support for the other ways to donate.

  • If you have any questions about the payment methods or the fundraiser, please email info@opirgbrock.com or call/message 365-855-2768, and we will follow up!

The work of OPIRG Brock primarily takes place on the traditional lands of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, Wendat, and Chonnonton people and home to many Indigenous people from First Nations from across Turtle Island, Metis, and Inuit people. A key treaty governing this territory is the “Dish with One Spoon” agreement. This treaty between the Anishinaabe, Mississaugas and Haudenosaunee binds them to share the territory and protect the land. Subsequent Indigenous nations and peoples, settlers and all newcomers, have been invited into this treaty in the spirit of peace, friendship and respect.

To learn more about the treaties in your area, we recommend checking out www.native-land.ca
