OPIRG Brock Referendum Results

February 16, 2018

The Ontario Public Interest Research Group (OPIRG) has lost its undergraduate student funding. The undergraduate students of Brock University voted in favour of removing $1.50 per credit fee to fund OPIRG Brock.

We are proud of our hard working volunteers, staff, and board members. Thank you to our staff, Kerry and Manchari, who organized and defended the organization during this hard time.

OPIRG Brock will continue to work with the community and students, fostering new opportunities of engagement beyond the classroom. We look forward and are committed to building a transparent relationship with the Brock University Student Union.

Undergraduate students believe our mandate: bringing awareness to social and environmental justice, challenging our understanding, and participating in our shared community. Let’s work together.
